Welcome to the Falkirk Area Food and Drink Festival 2004, which brings together the very best in hotels, restaurants and food shops in the Falkirk Area in a celebration of good food and drink.

The Festival starts with the fabulous 3-day Authentic French Street Market which will transform Falkirk town centre into a little piece of France. Also look out for the sensational Second Sunday FarmersÕ Market on Sunday 13th June.

If we ever need an excuse to eat out, then the Festival gives us every opportunity. Try fine dining with a tutored wine tasting, special gourmet meals, a leisurely pub lunch, how about sampling fine sherries, a night out with your friends or a meal from Italy, France, Greece Turkey, India, Denmark not forgetting Scotland itself. Take advantage of the many promotions that will be available throughout the whole of the Falkirk Area.

Every day at Callendar House in the Georgian Kitchen the interpretive staff will be creating summer recipes of fresh garden vegetable soups, herb and flower biscuits and fruit preserves. All produce and dishes will be available at regular tastings throughout the day.
